Sunday was a thoroughly cold and snowy day; perfect for a nice hike. Snow kept me from taking many photo, but here’s a couple from a little hill above Pottenstein. I’ll be coming back to this spot again in early January, as there is a festival where they light hundreds of little fires on all the surrounding hills.

  1. Those pics make the town look like a miniature toy version. I feel like I am looking in a snow globe or something! Awesome…

  2. cool pics Cody ! Lisa has made a great analogy in her comment above. I like the first image the best. Brr ! at winter though…not for me really but I know you love it.
Next week I am heading up north to Australia’s Northern Territory where at this time of year it absolutely ridiculously hot, humid and some thunderstorms. I can’t wait to go swimming in the spectacular gorges again. :)

  3. totally agree with Lisa, looks like a little toy set. Really pretty.

  4. shooting with a tilt-shift lens gives the cool look.

Tony, I’ll take cold over tropical heat any day! Looking forward to more of your awesome storm photos.

  5. I agree with first comment, the lens is cool, make us take a fresh look at the world, always a good thing.
