I'm probably a bit on the quiet side, unless you bring up the topics of photography, climbing or Norway, and then I can talk for hours on end. There's also a few adventures in the back of my mind that'll get me going as well, but for the most part, I'm an observer; leaving my camera to do the talking.
I grew up in ever-sunny Santa Barbara, on the southern California coast. Perhaps this is why I have such an interest in the colder parts of the world these days. I'll take mountains and snow against a tropical beach any time I can. Or my favorite combination of mountains, snow, and ocean like the stunning beauty of the Lofoten islands in arctic Norway or the rugged west coast of New Zealand.
At 29 years old I now split my time between Santa Barbara and a small town in the Welsh countryside. Never too far from an airport, trainstation or just a highway to hold out my thumb and catch a ride along. Always searching for the next adventure...
